What equipment(s) do you use in taking photos?

Whatever camera I can borrow from my friends (orgmates). Yep, I don’t own a camera. I prefer Canon over Nikon though. I was able to keep a vintage Argus C3 Rangefinder (a property of my affiliation), recently. It’s really cool but quite hard to use. You really need a lifetime of practice to master it. :)

Have you done client shoots?

Yes. :) I think 70% of my photos are from client shoots. I’ve done a pre-nup shoot days before I went to Palawan and it was great. I had so much fun! :) You can contact me here or just send me an e-mail at paulapatricia.vila@gmail.com if you’re interested in doing photoshoots with me. :)

Why photography?

I can express myself more using this medium. I guess that’s just about it. :)

Do you have other interests aside from photography?

If you consider reading books, watching movies/tv series, and listening to music an interest, well of course! Haha. I often read novels during my past time. I just recently finished The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and it was exciting. :) I used to write short stories and/or novelettes when I was in high school but I just stopped when I entered college. I don’t know what happened. HA-HA.

Favorite books: Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Heroes of Olympus series (Rick Riordan); A Time to Kill, The Client (John Grisham); The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, The Lost Symbol (Dan Brown); The Fault in Our Stars (John Green).

Favorite TV Series: One Tree HIll,Once Upon A Time, Awkward

Favorite Movie: The Pursuit of Happyness

Favorite Song: Depends on my mood. It changes everyday. As long as it’s a song from Paramore, Coldplay, and/or Maroon 5. The Wombats sound great too though. :)
